TO THE LOSER GO THE SPOILS

Gloom is a card game with somewhat of a macabre theme – you’re trying to make your family as gloomy as possible before they die. The more miserable they are when they pass on, the better chance you have of winning. Just hearing the theme though, we can see how you might be turned off. The Gloom: Unhappy Homes expansion adds one player and 55 cards to the game. Just mix the 55 transparent cards included in this set together with your copy o. The Gloomhaven prosperity is one of key elements in the game. While in the end we did not made any mistakes in that aspect, we couple of times had a real issue to understand how it works. In essence you can get the prosperity ticks by something you will discover after opening envelope B – you are getting a “minor-tick”.

For some, a life lived well is reward enough. Kind actions, success in your career, and a large host of friends that cheer your name! These are the things that make sure you have won at this game called Life.

That's a great philosophy... unless you believe that your afterlife is determined by just how miserable a life you were suffered to live! Such is the fun fate of the families of Gloom for which torment and tragedy bring a smile.
